Artist Comments:

I was excited to return to my masks. To express my exuberance, I thought that the next painting would be bright, warm, colorful and lively. And should express growth and happiness. Flowers seemed best to define all those parameters. With orange and yellow as the colors of warmth. So, off to one of my favorite craft stores. I let the flowers pick me. And discovered some acrylic gems that found their way into the painting. As is often the case in paintings, an original thought is supplanted by the painting itself. This artist being open to suggestion, bows became draped veils. Both the painting and the painter moved happily to completion.
